Donna G. Anderson, age 96, of  Sherrodsville, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, January 14, 2026 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover where she had been a resident for a little over three years.
She was born August 29, 1929 in Sherrodsville, and was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Ora E. (Smith) Moughiman.  Her husband, the late Ervin Goyne Anderson, whom she married February 24, 1950, died on October 29, 1992. In addition to her parents and  husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son Ervin G. Anderson, Jr., five sisters,  Elizabeth Hill, Laura Moughiman, Margaret Bull, Josephine Lewis, and Thelma A. Whitehair, and three brothers  James C. Moughiman, William Moughiman, and Emmet Moughiman, and son-in-law, Edward Stewart.

Donna was a longtime member of the former Bethesda Lutheran Church at Sherrodsville. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Carroll Temple and founder of the Carroll Pythian Sunshine Girls.  She was an active member of the Sherrodsville Lion's Club where she weekly assisted in the Bingo operations and loved to participate in the Bingo games. She was a 1947 graduate of the former Sherrodsville High School, where she earned the honor of Class Valedictorian, and was a former member of the Tuscarawas County Homemaker's Association.  Donna had a love of jigsaw puzzles to the level of having successfully competed in jigsaw competitions.  She had a passion for crocheting, and often sold her  creations at local craft shows. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Cleveland Guardians (Indians) and rarely missed watching a game on television. A lifetime resident of Sherrodsville, she was active and supportive in community events. 

She is survived by five daughters and a son, Bonita "Bonnie" Anderson of Norwalk, OH, Mrs. Denise Stewart of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Laura A. (Gary Weaver) Anderson of Massillon, OH, Mrs. Amy (Gary) Kirkpatrick of Lebanon, Connecticut,     Mrs. Pamela (David) Lewis of Frisco, Texas and Victor (Robin) Anderson of Freeport, OH, and her four grandchildren Greggory Kirkpatrick of Lebanon, Connecticut, Benjamin  Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas, Thomas Lewis of Frisco, Texas and Mrs. Grace (Nick) Meyer of New York, NY, and a large family of nieces and nephews.

Donna's family would like to express their sincere appreciation by offering a heartfelt "Thank You" to the Traditions Hospice Team and her Park Village Healthcare Center family for their thoughtful and thorough care. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2026 in the  Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville with Pastor Vicki Muth officiating.  Interment alongside her husband will follow in the Zion Cemetery near Sherrodsville where Donna was responsible for tending to the cemetery records for many years.   Calling hours will be observed from 12:00 noon until time of services in the funeral home.  Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the Sherrodsville Lion's Club, P.O.
